- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This campground is a great location within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and supplies. There are views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The campsite I stayed at was near the lake (G29). Trailheads are within walking or short driving distances. The campsite accommodates a wide range of campers with pull through and back in slots. Electrical hookups are available in some of the areas. Tent camping is intermingled in all of the campsite areas. Downside is that fire pits are not provided at the sites, outdoor campfires are discouraged because of the possibility of high winds, though I did see a few portable pits that people brought in for themselves.By Tom Wilhelmi, June 14, 2017
